Happy Birthday Mom!

Today was my mom's birthday!

Can you tell how much her grandkids love her? Yep, she's pretty darn special!! We love you mom (grandma)!!

I was inspired by one of my new favorite bloggers, Chrissie from In His Grace. She has a great tutorial for making no-sew posies. Well, I was in a pinch and needed a birthday card for my mom. I didn't have any fabric so I grabbed my decorative paper scraps and cut out some circles, cut little pieces of cardboard and glued the pieces behind each circle to add dimension. Then I glued the bottom circle to a blank card! And instant greeting card!! This isn't the card that I gave my mom. I used pink, green and purple decorative paper for mom's card. It turned out really pretty:) (I wish I had pinking sheers to create a decorative edge on the outer circle, maybe next time.
