Simply Pretty Chalkboard

This is a painting that I completed a few years ago, for my friend's daughter. It is an acrylic painting, on canvas, 30"x40". I did this painting in one day at my friend's house. She cut a pretty pink hibiscus from her garden, put it in a glass with water and I set up my station and began to paint. By the end of the day, the painting was complete and my kids and I had spent a lovely day visiting with our friends.

This simply pretty little chalkboard seemed the perfect companion for my bright hibiscus flowers that I cut from my yard.
