Mini Vacation, Big Surprises!

We met Grandma and Grandpa at the Beach and stay one night in a beautiful hotel. In the one day we were there, the weather changed about five times. First it was sunny and balmy with clear blue skies, then it was threatening with a massive storm cloud looming over the horizon, next the storm swept onto the beach(it was crazy the sand started wiping and everyone ran for cover). Finally the rain came! After the fifteen minute thunder storm, the blue skies returned. Next, back to the hotel for a delicious dinner by the sea. Finally the day ended with a perfect sunset and a late night swim. We even witnessed a wedding at sunset!

Mini Beach Vacation

Going to the beach today for a little break from the madness. Hoping to relax and not worry for a few minutes. This picture was taken by my mom, who is already there. I can't wait to wiggle my toes in the soft sand and just breathe.

Keeping the faith...

Mural Makeover

I did some mural work today! Yay!!
My client already had a mural done in her bathroom, by another artist. She needed it touched up because ahe had done some minor construction(replaced a towel rack) but she couldn't find the other artist. So, she asked me to touch it up the mural. I usually don't work on other artist's murals but this seemed like an easy fix. I did not try to completely change the mural, I worked with what I had and just tweaked it a little. This is not normally my style but I'm still happy with how it turned out. Most importantly, my client was happy.:)

A Celebrity in the Family

Today my hubby's cousin will be on Regis and Kelly, for the celebrity look-a-like contest!

She will be on the show today Wednesday July 15th:) They are doing the celebrity contest all week.
