My friend, from up state New York(Syracuse) and I(a Long Islander) used to joke about how, ball, bowl and bull all sounded the same when she said them, but when I said them you certainly could tell the difference.
I would say these results are accurate! You can take the girl out of New York but you can't take New York out of the girl:)

Yeah, I did that quiz too and it said I lacked an accent, so I was probably from the southwest, like Nevada or California. Being raised in California, I'd have to say they nailed it.
