This is not my photo. I found this on a photo restoration site. This is a test photo that they give you to do, to evaluate your skill. It was quite challenging for me and there are still some trouble spots but it was worth a try.
This was done in photoshop CS4
I'm trying to get faster and more accurate at doing this. If I can keep improving my skills and speed I wonder if this would be worth doing as a business. Anybody have old photos that need repair?

WOW! You did a great job! My problem with restoration is that I tend to lose interest. I am a tad bit impatient and think that things should happen quickly! One of my many flaws. Thanks for sharing.
I am not even the tiniest bit skilled at Photoshop...but from a consumer's point of view, your photo looks fab. I would definitely say that you are great at restoration! Go for it. Seriously.

Hey, great job! Been trying to restore a photo myself but I really doubt my skills on this. Prob just not into it. Up for a challenge? It's a photo from a friend of mine and it needs a lot of help.

We have a store in a mall here that does photo restorations and they are busy!
Old wedding photos - removing some people, adding others and lots of war time photos renewed.
They have lots of their projects on display and they are just amazing.
