Florida Highwaymen
This morning we were out of the house early, the crack of dawn! I find the morning to be the most inspiring time of day. All the possibilities lie ahead of you...
The picture below was take from the car window, as we whizzed by, enjoying the scenery. This picture reminded me of "The Florida Highwaymen" artists.
"In the early 1950’s through the 1980’s a group of twenty-six African-American artists known as the "Florida Highwaymen" used vivid and bright colors to display the beautiful untouched Florida landscape." You can read more about them here The Florida Highwaymen

I have never heard of the Florida highwaymen. Their art looks stunning. Thanks for the info....heading on over to check them out.
